Patrik Raidla OÜ is a cleaning company in Tartu, where floor care is performed with an eccentric floor maintenance machine Excentr 30-20 + B. Patrik Helm, the company's manager, kindly agreed to share his experience with us and explains why he chose the Excentr wireless floor maintenance machine.
What cleaning work does your company perform?
We offer a maintenance cleaning service and also perform all special work that can be done in the field of cleaning, from window washing and major cleaning to the maintenance of various floors (waxing and deep cleaning) and post-construction cleaning. For me, finding the right machine was a little longer process, because before I finally decided in favour of the Excentr floor maintenance machine, I rented the same machine from a rental company to try it out. All objects and works are different, so different tools are needed each time. Post-construction cleaning works offer many "surprises" and new experiences. At this point, I would like to emphasize how important partner Puhastusimport is for me. Remove the grout residue quickly with Excentr machine
Recently, there was a case where epo grout had not been cleaned from the floor after construction, and since the grout had been standing there for some time, it was quite difficult to get it. Clearly, the Excentr floor maintenance machine helped and the floor was repaired quickly.

In my opinion, deep cleaning of stairs in stairwells is a job that cannot be ordered and, frankly, it is difficult to do without an Excentr machine. The Excentr floor maintenance machine has a rectangular plate and so the steps and corners can be cleaned well. And, of course, the battery moving around in a stairwell with a long wire or extension wires may not be the smoothest way. The wire still comes out of the plug and gets stuck somewhere.
Two or three times a year a scouring could be done in the stairwells and steps. There is a lot of biological dirt in the corridors – moisture, mold, fungi – a lot that is not visible to the naked eye. However, we bring this dirt to our homes with footwear. Surface hygiene is important, when viruses are spreading.
What are the benefits of wireless machine?
A battery-powered machine has several advantages. The work can be done much more conveniently, as the cord does not get stuck and you do not have to worry about the presence of plugs in the vicinity from which the machine can receive power. For example, I have two batteries - when I work with one I can fully charge the other or do other work in the meantime, while charging. Two batteries is enough. Of course, the durability of the battery depends on the work that needs to be done - when cleaning a smooth floor, the battery lasts longer than on a rough surface.
What recommendations do you give to those who are going to choose a floor maintenance machine?
First, I recommend mapping your objects and needs, because there is a wide variety of machines to choose from. The Excentr floor maintenance machine is suitable for deep cleaning, sanding and large-scale cleaning. It is also worth considering whether the machine is needed on a daily basis or whether it is reasonable to purchase the Excentr service.
